My vision

Helping you to navigate your career path with intent.

Challenging you to be bold, and dream big.

About me

I’m an executive coach and facilitator who brings empathy, humour, and (I like to think) a little wisdom to my everyday work.

For many years now I have found joy in coaching individuals and teams across government, non-government, and private sectors. I support my clients to grow, enjoy their work, and enjoy their lives. I am a highly sought-after facilitator for strategic planning and team building/culture review workshops/ I also deliver tailored training on effective meetings and presentations in partnership with McGrath Media.

My passion is working with teams and individuals to reach their full potential, achieve results and drive culture change. I have a developing interest in, and experience with, working with neurodiverse people and their colleagues.

In my coaching practice, I draw on my broad experience including senior executive roles (most recently as a First Assistant Secretary at the Department of Education), in the Federal and NSW state governments, senior advising roles for two Federal Ministers and a former Treasurer, and my role as CEO of a non-profit.

As CEO of Reconciliation Australia, I introduced the highly successful Reconciliation Action Plan program, which has helped over 2,700 organisations formalise their commitment to reconciliation.

I have spent time living in the Indo-Pacific region, in the Solomon Islands and Timor-Leste, gaining insight into working across cultures. In both countries I coached and mentored local leadership teams and boards.

As Head of Government Relations for the Australian Red Cross, I facilitated major strategic partnership meetings across the Pacific in Timor-Leste and Myanmar.

For several years, I ran a consulting business training public servants in writing styles, and advising on public policy reviews and strategy development.

I have been a board director with the Australian Indigenous Leadership Centre, and served on advisory committees for the NSW and ACT governments. I am currently a board director for the Baringa Early Learning Centre.

I hold a Bachelor of Social Work (Hons. University of NSW), and am an Associate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.

I am an accredited Executive Coach with the Institute of Executive Coaching (Level 2), Myers Briggs Step 1 and 2 practitioner, and a certified Team Management Systems practitioner.

I have two adult daughters and live in Canberra with my husband Peter, and puppy Penny. I’m an avid gardener, reader, and amateur (but still very competitive!) ping-pong player.
